In the field of heat pumps, ratiotherm has specialised in the development of products for the use of cold or gliding heating networks. The idea behind this is to reduce network losses by centrally tapping a source and then distributing it via a piping system. The missing temperature for drinking water and heating purposes is generated by our specially developed Grid heat pumps. Based on a classic groundwater or brine heat pump, these local heat transfer stations are specially equipped to be used in innovative network concepts (heat network 4.0).
Alternatively, we also offer transfer stations for classic hot local heat in a wide variety of output sizes. The heat supply is usually made available at a temperature level of 75-80°C. The heat is then transferred to the local heating system in the form of a heat exchanger.
