The complete heating system WP Grid-HiQ C with integrated heat pump stands for maximum efficiency in compact form, for use in innovative heat or energy concepts (heating network 4.0) primarily in the area of neighbourhoods, but also for industry and commerce or as a single system. Due to the extraordinary combination of interfaces to classic local heating and cold local heating in one product, a wide range of applications is open. In addition, the system is equipped with a buffer tank, fresh water technology and the necessary safety modules and a controller. It can thus be installed as the sole heating system in the technical room of almost any new building. Whether for heating, active/passive cooling, hygienic hot water preparation or the direct transfer of heating power from the local district heating network - the WP Grid HiQ C is the integrated solution.

Inverter control:

The WP Grid-HiQ C series can cover a very wide performance spectrum in the field of heat generation or cooling by means of the standard integrated speed control using inverter technology. A wide range of applications is therefore available here. Inverter technology also allows, for example, power regulation in order to use PV power for heating or cooling purposes as required. This heat pump offers you the highest savings potential, as it always delivers the right output and automatically adjusts to the current energy requirements of the living space at any time of the year. The term Flex (F), for flexible speed, can be found in the name of the respective system for inverter heat pumps. The systems therefore bear an F in their type designation.

Flexible source temperatures:

By equipping the WP Grid-HiQ C with the HiQ technology patented by ratiotherm, the user is able to tap any heat source as a source for the heat pump. The name is derived from the high (Hi) source network temperature, i.e. HiQ. Even if the source temperatures constantly change within a temperature window of 10-55°C (e.g. process heat during various work steps), the WP Grid-HiQ C always operates at the optimum operating point. For the operation of the plant, this means minimising operating costs at maximum coefficient of performance (COP).

Transfer station heat pump combination:

The heat pumps of the grid series are optionally equipped with a transfer station for "classic" local heating at a temperature level of 60-95°C. The output to be transferred via this station can be adapted to your individual needs. The thermal energy of the local heating can be transferred directly to the heating system available in the building. The additionally integrated heat pump is deactivated in this operating state, or in standby. As soon as the heating network is lowered to low temperatures (10-55°C), the heat pump takes over the temperature rise to up to 72°C, as specified by the heating system and hot water.

Buffer storage and fresh water technology:

As a complete heating room, the WP Grid-HiQ C can, of course, also be equipped with a buffer storage tank of variable size. The storage tank and the necessary safety components are concealed under an attractive cladding. Also integrated is a fresh water module for the hygienic supply of drinking water. This combination paired with an internal control module adapted to the application replaces the complete heating room control system. These features are part of the naming of our systems and are designated C for Compact in the type designation at ratiotherm.
